Josh Michaels

Translation and Scripture Engagement Consultant, SIL International

Josh led a multiagency church planting team and teaches Pioneer Church Planting in the Perspectives Course. Along with his wife and children, Josh continues helping first-generation believers in a restricted-access region translate the Bible into their own languages for use within culturally customized disciplemaking ministries. He has an MA in Linguistics and an MDiv in Biblical Studies.

Heather 

OPEN Network

Heather is the wife of Greg and mom to 3 children. She has a BS in Elementary Education from Louisiana State University and taught for one year in Anchorage, AK, but the Lord had other long-term plans. She then lived in the Arabian Gulf for almost a decade as mom and business owner, seeking to reach people for Jesus. She is currently COO for an indoor vertical farm with hopes of expanding amongst least-reached peoples. 

Heather lives in Dallas, TX and enjoys reading, journaling, and crafting whenever she has spare time.  She is also on the OPEN leadership team, a Network for business professionals working in the 10-40 window among least reached peoples doing B4T (Business for Transformation).

Joseph Peer

Crescent Tactical Fitness

Joseph Peer and his wife spent over 11 years discipling men and women of the US Military Special Forces while on staff with the Navigators. The Lord then moved their family to Amman, Jordan where they founded CrossFit Crescent in 2014. Based in Memphis, TN, they now work 1-1 with serious business owners and executives who want to integrate faith, fitness, and their family to impact their community and the ends of the earth.

Compassion International

Rachael is a video producer at Compassion International, where she shepherds stories of hope from the field, empowering children in poverty. A Westmont alum, Rachael has traveled the globe, living and working in South Sudan, Zambia, Nicaragua and Benin. In her free time, Rachael loves to explore the mountains, spend quality time with friends and is happiest when sipping a quality cup of coffee.

Andy Pearce

International Students, Inc.

God has transformed Andy from a timid, introverted homebody growing up in a small Santa Barbara County beach town to an extroverted global ambassador for Christ with hundreds of cross-cultural friendships. He is Director of Church Partnerships for International Students, Inc. (ISI) with a focus on equipping the Church for cross-cultural engagement. He has MAs in Theology and Education and a PhD in International Development. Andy and his wife Sandy have been married for 32 years and have raised five TCKs (Third Culture Kids).

Katie P

Jesus Film Project

Katie fell in love with seeing God's miracles in the most unreached places at a young age. Now, she digitally engages directly into those places on a daily basis! An alumna of Westmont College, Katie now serves with Jesus Film Project and lives in Orlando, Florida, with her husband Carlos and betta fish-son, Sparky. You can find her often walking barefoot in the mornings and growing way too many houseplants.

Mike Vincent

Senior Pastor at Calvary Rosarito 

“The Local Church as a Sending Hub of Missions”

Mike Vincent was sent out with his family from Southern California in 2002 to plant a church in Rosarito Mexico. In the past twenty years,  God has blessed Mike to Pastor that church (Calvary Rosrito) and develop a church planting program that has sent out 38 first generation church plants, eleven second generation church plants, and one third generation plant.

Steve Robertson

Mission to the World

Steve Robertson serves as the International Director for the Americas for Mission to the World, which seeks to fulfill the mission of making disciples among all the nations. In that role he gives leadership and pastoral care to their missionaries and national partners throughout North and South America, as well as the Caribbean. Originally from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Steve got his BA in Spanish from Vanderbilt University and a Masters in Divinity from Covenant Theological Seminary. He and his wife Amy have been missionaries in Mexico, Chile, and Medellín, Colombia, where they currently live and serve.
