One Voice Student Missions
Brian Barcelona is the Founder and President of One Voice Student Missions, an organization that is reaching thousands of public high school students with the gospel all over America and the nations. He is also the author of The Jesus Club, a book on revival in Public Schools, and Don’t Scroll, the story of how God is moving through digital missions. He resides in Dallas, Texas with his wife, Marcela. They have three children, Zoe, Everlyse, and Jedidiah Barcelona, with another on the way.
Fouad Masri was born and raised in the war zone of Beirut, Lebanon. As a third-generation pastor, he has a passion for sharing the love of Christ with Muslims. In 1989, he founded Crescent Project to nurture transformational relationships between Christians and Muslims and overcome misconceptions about Islam and Christianity. Fouad is author of Is the Injeel Corrupted? and Ambassadors to Muslims. Fouad holds a BA in Mass Communication and an MA from Fuller Theological Seminary in Islamic Studies.

Joseph Peer and his wife spent over 11 years discipling men and women of the US Military Special Forces while on staff with the Navigators. The Lord then moved their family to Amman, Jordan where they founded CrossFit Crescent in 2014. Based in Memphis, TN, they now work 1-1 with serious business owners and executives who want to integrate faith, fitness, and their family to impact their community and the ends of the earth
Rachael, a Westmont alum, passionately seeks to keep the gospel central, while empowering children in poverty. From a young age, she has pursued opportunities to partner with local communities in the field. After working in multiple development and disaster relief contexts (South Sudan, Zambia, Nicaragua, Benin, etc.), she felt God calling her to use her skillset to serve in the United States. She presently works as a video producer at Compassion International, bringing inspiring stories from the field to life.
International Students, Inc.
Andy Pearce is the Southern California Area Director for International Students, Inc. (ISI), where he equips and mentors team members and numerous volunteers. God transformed Andy from a timid, introverted homebody growing up in a small Santa Barbara County beach town to an extroverted global ambassador for Christ with hundreds of cross-cultural friendships. He has a master’s in theological studies and a PhD in International Development.
Bible translator and local missionary in his own province, Papua, Indonesia, Markus and his team, in collaboration with Summer Institute of Linguistics (SIL), recently completed the translation of the New Testament in his tribal language, Walak. Markus and his team of 500 literacy tutors taught literacy to 5000 Walak in preparation for them to receive the Bible in their language. Markus is an engaging speaker who will encourage you to live fully for God’s purposes no matter what the cost.
David Morehead has spent nearly 30 years in the investment management industry and currently serves as the Chief Investment Officer at Baylor University. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Sara, and has four children, including a current Westmont student. Most importantly, he is a follower of Jesus Christ and wants to make him known.
Merrill and Teresa Dyck
South America Linguists
Merrill and Teresa Dyck have been serving the Lord among the P. people in South America. After intensive language and cultural study, they began teaching this tribe God’s story. Since then, the Lord has raised up nine different village churches with indigenous leadership. They continue to teach and disciple new believers and provide Bible resources.
Ugandan soccer player, Robert Katende, grew up in a Kampala slum, then joined Sports Outreach in 2002. Robert coached young people in soccer, helped coordinate feeding programs, and worked with a ministry to drill wells in Northern Uganda. Always interested in discovering more avenues to share Christ’s love and transformational power with the poor, Robert began a chess outreach. He coached chess champion Phiona Mutesi (Disney recorded their story in the Queen of Katwe movie). Robert has provided over 20 years of exemplary and innovative leadership to the Sport Outreach programs in Uganda and Kenya. He currently serves as Sports Outreach Director for Africa.
Scott and Heidi Wisley
Scott and Heidi Wisley met and married in Papua, Indonesia where they raised their children. The scriptural imperative to "love your neighbor as yourself" along with a request from the leaders of their village to educate their children like we would our own became their calling. They started, Ob Anggen, a Christian school whose vision is to provide an international standard of Christian education that empowers families and transforms communities. Ob Anggen now has 4 schools in very remote villages with about 350 students and 70 staff.
Stan Cobb, a Texan doctor and storyteller, believes that inhabiting and living out the Christian story is necessary for transformation of the world. He has degrees in chemistry, theology and dentistry and served in private practice and as Associate Professor at Texas A&M/Baylor College of Dentistry. For forty years, he and his wife have taught and served all over the globe, including more than a decade of service to the homeless of Dallas. They have worked with thousands of students and nurtured the lives of hundreds of medical and dental students in their work with the Christian Medical and Dental Association.
